An active partner and registered nurse with Dialysis Systems Management, LLC and DSM Management, Inc., Shannon was on the ground floor of this startup company since 2012. In her role, Shannon specializes in the management of Acute and Outpatient dialysis as well as successfully oversees clinical management in multiple locations.
Excellent at communication, Shannon coordinates the opening and management of three dialysis programs. She created and implemented dialysis policies and procedures to coordinate with hospitals, clinics, and physicians, and has developed a strong relationship in the nephrology community; TJC, CMS and Oregon Health Authority.
A big believer in patient care, Shannon supports patient education and creates a positive working environment for her multidisciplinary team.
Qualified in dialysis, Shannon holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Oregon Health Science University. In 1996, she started her dialysis career with Fresenius Medical Care and was Clinical Manager soon after. In 2003, Shannon started Pacific Nursing Services, a temporary staffing agency specializing in staffing dialysis nurses and techs throughout the United States.
Shannon has been an RN for 30 years and 24 of those years were spent in Nephrology. From outpatient clinics to hospital acutes to traveling as a nurse and landing in management, Shannon has run the gamut in patient care.
On a personal note, Shannon has been married to Scott White since 1990, and has two grown children; Kalynn, who owns a catering company, and Corey, a partner in the dialysis businesses.
